4.2.2020

Right now, the world is experiencing a major crisis. It’s like we’ve been hit, out of NOWHERE, with a huge whirlwind. In the blink of an eye, our entire way of life has changed. For some of us, we don’t even know where to begin to pick up the pieces. Our minds are filled with many questions: “When will I be able to return to work?” “How will I pay my bills? But the one question we are all posing is, when will this all be over?

People are displaced. Hospitals are filled to maximum capacity and are unable to accept new patients. Relationships are being tested. Children are having to adapt to a totally new way of life. They are being home-schooled, and every source of entertainment outside of the home has been taken away.

For the Class of 2020, I’m sure you all feel like the thing you’ve worked so hard for has been stripped from your grasp. But keep the faith. Remember there is still hope. In spite of it all, God is still in control. He had this planned out before COVID-19 made its debut. Right now, it’s time to come together… to come together as a family, to come together as a community, to come together as a nation! Guys, it’s time to pray. Although we cannot physically come together to do so, we can stand together in our respective homes in PRAYER! If we all commit to taking up this charge, I promise, things will begin to change.

To the healthcare works, thank you so much for all you are doing. Thank you for your patience, your flexibility, and your strength. Right now you’re probably experiencing the most challenging time of your careers, but remember that God is in control. And when you can’t hear his voice, continue to trust His plan.

Let’s continue to uplift and encourage one another. Remember to also check on those who may be enduring this critical time alone.

Lastly, take some time to just breathe. Watch a movie; have a family night… anything to safely cope with this situation. WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS TOGETHER.
